Justice was sold to the Franklin County Sheriff's Department in Maine. Justice is now a certified Patrol and Narcotic Detection K9 .

My Department came to Von Woden Kennels looking for a dual-purpose canine, the first in our Department's history. We sat down and discussed with Dave that our primary concern was to have a dog that was not only an effective crime deterrent, but one that was approachable and could be used for community relations projects; we didn't want a dog that the community would be afraid of. Dave matched us up with Hoki who was the perfect dog for our needs. Hoki has not only been successfully deployed in a law enforecment role, but has also been brought into a summer camp to introduce local kids to police canines. - Officer Dan Pelkey

Hi David,
I know I'm never on top of this, but I just wanted to send you some pictures of Miss Addy. She's such an incredible delight of a dog. One of your B litter. She's gorgeous. Super smart. She has her rally advanced excellent title already, and we just started on obedience a few months ago and she has her cd title. We've started on scent work, which I don't have any experience in. But she's kind of amazing. She'll search for ten minutes without getting frustrated to find an object. She's also just such a sweetheart. Super playful- gets along well with other dogs, cats and is super stable around people. Has a crazy ball drive - will do anything to find/be rewarded by that ball. And is also very intuitive. She's taught me a ton. I actually got so into training just because of her capabilities. Can't wait to learn more! So glad I stumbled onto your sign advertising puppies two years ago on vacation...

Our experience with David and his wonderful puppies are more than exceptional. Not only did David sell us a beautiful, healthy, tempermentally sound female puppy to add to our family, but he was there after the sale to help us with any training questions we had.
It has been a pure pleasure dealing with David over the past year that we've owned our beloved Menna, who we purchased from Von Woden Kennels. We plan on obtaining another Von Woden puppy in the near future.
I wish more breeders were as caring and compassionate about their breeding practices as David is. He is awesome and his puppies are outstanding.

Just thought I'd let you know how my pup has been doing his first few days here. I ended up naming him Boris. He actually never threw up on the ride home did great other then he was kinda whiny,. He's been great so far no accidents in the house or kennel yet, he did use the bathroom once in the house but he went over to the puppy pad to go. He already knows sit and come. Had you been working with him on the basic commands? Because he catches on very fast! He's very attached already he follows me everywhere and goes everywhere with me including in the car. Thank you very much for him, he's great!!
